LC by Luigi Castellini is a young company, created after twenty years of experience in the upholstery sector by Luigi Castellini, who entered the world of work at a very young age, as a cutter, in small artisan leather goods.
As a leather cutting operator, he continued over the years experimenting and learning all the various stages of its processing, from sewing and covering to carpentry, modeling and prototyping.
The mission of our company is to create a product of high craftsmanship and tailored to the customer, taking care of every detail to fully satisfy all their needs. Each customized model is a guarantee of a real aesthetic value, total comfort and exclusive relaxation.
Mission
The company is an artisan workshop that produces upholstered furniture to order, to measure and to photography, both for interiors and exteriors, made entirely by hand.
““My goal is to share, involve and “work together” with the customer, to obtain a product that guarantees truly made-to-measure comfort, a piece that is always unique, created to give shape to their desires. During the design phase, we will examine together the characteristics of all the raw materials and possible processes, not only to give the best advice, but also to find the right balance between quality and price.
For my sofas, armchairs, upholstered beds, furniture and furnishing accessories, I use raw materials of the highest quality and of national origin, a true 100% Made in Italy made with professionalism and careful attention to detail, combining rigid artisan methods with innovative techniques and cutting-edge. The wooden structures are handcrafted by local carpenters, using above all solid beech and solid fir, while plywood and mdf are used for the infill panels. The padding of the seat cushions is handmade, shaping and layering slabs of non-deformable polyurethane foam, of different densities, and then wrapping it in a soft goose down mattress. Finally, everything is covered with a soft cotton lining, to create the seat that best suits your idea of comfort. The back cushions are generally made of washed and sterilized goose down, but they can be customized with higher or lower density materials and/or with polyurethane inserts, thus combining support and softness and creating your “tailored comfort”. As for the upholstery, it is possible to choose from a large sample of leathers, eco-leathers and fabrics, including outdoor ones, all of excellent quality.
The experience gained over the years working in collaboration with architects, designers or simply realizing the wishes of my customers, allows me today to enter the world of contract furniture in my own way, with my “Made to Measure” style. I make furniture for commercial activities, restaurants, bars and hotels.
